i'm still not sure exactly how to approach this page. in my earlier attempts i realized that
i'm passionate about way too many albums and no longer really have a "GOAT" list. but music
is too important for me not to share my favorites, so i'm going to do my best to have some
restraint on this list.
fyi, i'm definitely an album person. even streaming i tend to listen to albums start to end,
and i've dedicated a lot of time to crafting my playlists to progress in the same way a good
album does. so a lot of my favorites here don't have to do so much with how each artist
ranks for me generally, or even my favorite music from them. i'm looking at the entire album
as a work of art: individual songs, track order, production, lyrics and themes, etc, etc.
i think this will just be a list of albums, and eventually i'll have each one link to its own
little essay or something... also be aware that i'm a vibes-driven individual, and albums
will be added and removed over time.
